Bio-Path Medical Group was established in 1978, by Sheldon
Barasch, M.D.. Dr. Barasch felt that he could provide a level
of service to his clients that was not currently being offered.
He recognized the importance of personalized patient care,
the need for faster results and the value of quality control.
By establishing a non-hospital based laboratory Dr. Barasch
brought together a staff that could assure a high level of
quality control by working together as a team.
Clients are able to speak to someone directly
regarding the status of a test, answer billing questions or
consult with a pathologist if needed. Results are processed
in 24-48 hours and reports are provided immediately. Bio-Path
works together as a team to provide the highest level of service
available.
We are licensed and inspected by the
State of California and adhere to all of the ordinances and
codes that govern our business.
